Jolly Rancher Ornaments.
Once again, my friend and I got the opportunity to craft during our playgroup. Yay!! We made Jolly Rancher ornaments The ones that didn't break turned out soooo cute. The kids will even be able to help with this craft. All you have to do is unwrap your candies, place the candies inside of metal cookie-cutters that have been sprayed with non-stick cooking spray and placed on a foil-lined baking sheet that has also been sprayed with non-stick cooking spray, cook in a preheated 325 degree oven for 10 minutes, then take them out and let them cook for 3-4 minutes before poking a hole in the top of each with a chopstick, then let them cool completely and carefully pull the cookie-cutters off of them. If some of the candies melt outside of the cookie-cutters, just break them off. Voila! Handmade ornaments. Bonus: Your kitchen will smell amazing while you're making them! Funny thing....I actually had hid the ornaments from my kids so that they wouldn't play with them before we got our Christmas tree, and you probably know how that goes... I hid them so well that I ended up forgetting about them until yesterday when I stumbled upon them in an overhead cabinet. Whew, I sure am glad I found them before Christmas was over!:) Now take a Coke break!
