Aren’t hummingbirds those most amazing little creatures? This little one was eating out of my parents flowers, and my dad got a great picture of it.
I bet they can barely eat enough to keep up with the amount energy they expend just fluttering around (they flap their wings about 80 times per second!). Here's another little fact about them: percentage wise, they have the largest brain of any bird (4.2% of their body weight). Also, they can fly right, left, up, down, forwards, and backwards!
Honestly, I could watch them ALL day, couldn’t you?
I think this one needs a Coke, though... for some extra energy
