S’more Pops—Too Easy!

My newest favorite summer treat is a take on a tried and true all-time favorite for most of us, I bet.  Think back to the times when you were sitting around a camp fire fire pit {I don’t camp… at all} waiting for the moment when that marshmallow on the end on your stick was just right—the point between melty goodness and a ball of flames.

Well, this treat is equally delicious, much easier to make, and perfect for little hands.  Just grab some jumbo marshmallows and dip them in melted chocolate on one end.  Then roll each one around in a bowl of graham cracker crumbs (to get this, take a couple of graham crackers and smash them up into a fine powder).  Place your dipped marshmallows on a baking sheet dipped side up, and stick a lollipop stick into each.

When your chocolate has hardened or you just can’t wait to eat them, you can take a kitchen torch and “roast” the tops (like the fancy chefs do with crème brulee… ooh, la, la!), but you certainly don’t have to do that.

{ A funny note: I asked my husband for a kitchen torch, and he literally brought me a something that a wielder would use… it was SCARY!}

Thanks so much for leaving me a note on your Coke break. I read and appreciate each one :)
