On Friday, July 13, all fans of Chick-fil-A everywhere will celebrate Cow Appreciation Day. Honestly, it’s just something they made up to give us all one more reason to L-O-V-E Chick-fil-A! So, the deal is that anyone who goes into any Chick-fil-A restaurant dressed up like a cow will receive a free meal. What a deal, right!?
What are you waiting for… grab some black felt, some old white shirts and shorts, and get your sewing machine out. Free food awaits you on Friday!!!
You didn’t think I’d let the kids have all of the fun, did you? For my husband and myself, I used adhesive-backed black felt and just cut out shapes and stuck them to our clothes, so as not to ruin them. However, I kind of wish that I had sewn them on because we’d still have them for this year… bummer.
Justin is always such a good sport. When he came home from work last year on Cow Appreciation Day, I said, “Hey, we’re going to Chick-fil-a for dinner.” Obviously, he was like, “Okay.”
…then I handed him his cow “outfit.”
What’s a poor guy to say when his wife hands him something she’s made for him? The answer was, “Thank you, Honey, hmm, hmm, this is going to be fun.”
Oh, the memories we made on Cow Appreciation Day at Chick-fil-A…
Will your family be dressing up like cows on Friday, too?
