The weekend before last, we went to one of our very favorite spots, Huber’s Orchard, Winery, & Vineyards. We love the tractor ride that takes you out to the orchard, where it’s peach-picking time!
It’s so fun to watch the kids wander through the trees in search of the finest peaches.
It always cracks me up to watch Grant eat a peach. He doesn’t know it, but he always closes one eye when he takes a bite. It’s those cute little things that will always remain dear to my heart.
Honestly, there’s just something so sweet about polished nails on a little girls fingers and fancy shoes on her feet while traipsing through the orchard.
We always buy the kids each a new coloring book at the winery’s shop and then Justin and I enjoy the entertainment and a pitcher of whatever special concoction in on the menu {blackberry sangria… yum!}. So fun!
By the way, I tried to get Dane to look up from his coloring book, and what’s funny is that if he raises his eyebrows, in his mind, he is actually looking up at me. This boy is a character. We always joke that he should be on USA {the television network} because their slogan is “Characters welcome.”
What a fun afternoon! Does your family have a favorite go-to place on the weekend?
