Family photo day at the beach is both a fun and stressful part of our family vacation. Getting my three children to do the same thing at the same time is like running a three-ring circus. It’s tricky, but the results are always worth it.
Our family photo was missing one new member, though- hello… my sister’s husband! His troops had been scheduled to deploy that week (thankfully, those orders were changed, though, and no one was sent to Afghanistan!). Anyhow, we missed him.

No family photo day is complete without a trip to Lulu’s. If you’ve ever been to Gulf Shores, AL, you know what I’m talking about. Jimmy Buffett’s sister’s restaurant, Lulu’s, lives up to the hype. It is a super-fun place where the two-hour wait to be seated just flies by because your whole family is caught up in the excitement of the experience. From live entertainment to playing cornhole in the sand, Lulu’s is a destination one shouldn’t miss while in L.A. ( that’s Lower Alabama for those of you who don’t frequent the south… hehe!).
