My boys have headed back to school- Kindergarten and First grade.
They are growing up so fast, and it’s happening right before our very eyes, in what seems like a mere blink.
I love to commemorate any special occasion, such as the first day of school, with cute printables and crafts! Theses darling photo props were courtesy of Laurie Turk at Tip Junkie.
How exciting!
No “Back-to-School” time would be complete without an apple for the teacher, right?
My boys presented their teachers with a bookpage apple on Orientation Day.
A project like this is super-cheap and easy! Just grab an old book and rip off the cover. Then trace
half of your apple shape on the first page.
half of your apple shape on the first page.
The project is much easier if you can grab a Skil jigsaw rather than scissors to cut out your shape. Then fan out your pages and hot glue your back and front pages to each other.
Spraypaint the whole thing red and hot glue a piece of a small stick into the top. Of course, you can embellish it a bit more with some vintage fabric and a cute tag (my tag template was courtesy of Amanda’s Parties to Go).
Voila!
An apple for the teacher that will last from year to year!

Thanks so much for leaving me a note on your Coke break. I read and appreciate each one :)
